interesting facts:the leaf has up to 20 leaflets on it witch are sensitive when you touch them. The partridge pea has no sent.This flower stays bloomed till first frost. Partridge pea is used for bird feed but is poison is to cattle. During the fall pods develop that are instantly green, but later become hairless and dark brown.
