Habitat:
The Round Headed Lespedeza can be found in sand prairies, gravel prairies, hill prairies, dry black soil prairies, and open areas of railroads and roadsides.

Characteristics:
The plant is a perennial, 2-3 feet tall. The leaves and stems have fine silver hairs on them. The flower is white and green. The leaves have 3 little leaves on one stem.
Threats:
Herbivores like, small mammals and insects eat the Round Headed Lespedeza. Agricultural activities and residential development are also threats.
Interesting Facts
It is a very threatened plant. The Round Headed Lespedeza is a rare plant. This plant adds nitrogen to the soil and is easy to grow. There is no floral scent to the flower. After the plant blooms the flower heads gradually turn brown. The leaves can feel silky and soft. The stem is covered with thin hairs as well.
